This was reflected in the review we dedicated to this last installment of such a popular saga, in which we raved about how it broke with the traditions of the franchise and the industry in general. More than a year has passed since then and we can finally say that the game is expanding its circle of players. PC gamers will soon join PS5 gamers.

Yes, we are talking about Geoff Keighley, who is currently busy with Gamescom.

It was an announcement without any frills or artifice, in a very boring and direct tweet in X. Could it be that this was news for the Gamescom opening gala that was impossible to keep secret? Whatever the case, PC users are in luck. Because while there was a portion of fans who were disappointed with the game, many of us welcomed the changes it offered. Final Fantasy has always changed, it is as established and identity-forming a feature as crystals or chocobos, and possibly one of the reasons why it still survives in peak form.

So, congratulations to all PC users, you can expect a story that deals with more adult and mature themes than usual, with a direct plot and an art direction that does not harm the series that has exploited medieval fantasy. There is a demo available on Steam to test and a reduced pre-sale price is very attractive.
