Farrah Abraham has treated herself to an amazing first car for her daughter Sophia’s upcoming 16th birthday.

The 33-year-old reality star bought a $123,000 Tesla Cybertruck from the Cyberbeast Foundation for the teenager, who turns 16 in February, even though Sophia doesn’t even have a driver’s license yet.

The proud mom shared a snap of Sophia posing with the monster car – which is popular with celebrities like Kim Kardashian.

She wrote: “Sophia just got her first car! We can’t wait for the delivery.”

Sophia cannot currently drive the car alone because she only has a learner’s license.

Sophia is approaching the age Farrah was when she began performing on “16 And Pregnant” and is now preparing to obtain her learner’s permit.

Earlier this week The mother-daughter duo recently stopped by a car dealership (photo shared later this week by Farrah on Instagram).

Her daughter, who has recently adopted a rebellious gothic style, can get a learner’s permit in California at 15 1/2, meaning she may be just days away from hitting the streets – as long as she’s supervised by an adult.

“@sophialabraham car shopping,” Farrah captioned a photo of Sophia admiring a sleek black car.

Farrah’s only child matched the car perfectly, wearing a black T-shirt and shorts and matching black sneakers.

Earlier this month, the reality star posted a funny video in which she questions Sophia before her first trip behind the wheel.

Farrah first asked Sophia what she thought could be better about a hypothetical “driving experience” and the car she would use that day.

But that only made her reply snippily: “My own car.”

Then Farrah seemed to go through a checklist for her daughter to keep in mind while driving.

But then the video took a strangely philosophical turn.

“Okay, what’s more real? Real life or online?” Farrah asked Sophia.

“Real life,” Sophia replied, and that was the answer her mother had hoped for.

The prospective driver then sat behind the wheel of her mother’s SUV, although in the clip she only adjusted the seat.

“Looks like your head is a little too far forward. Do you need my help?” Farrah teased Sophia as the purple-haired teenager leaned her seat back, giving her mother a stern look.

Farrah revealed that her daughter hopes to collect mice to feed her pet snake once she can drive, among other things. She is also looking forward to “road trips,” the 15-year-old added.

The “Teen Mom” star ended her clip with what seemed like another non sequitur, praising services like Instacart and DoorDash for allowing her to stay home and avoid having to drive to pick up her stuff.

Perhaps she wanted to recommend these service apps to other parents who either didn’t want to drive or didn’t want their teenage children to drive, because she captioned her post: “ARE YOU READY TO DRIVE? @sophialabraham parents my favorite apps and this checklist is everything.”

In another related clip, Farrah made it clear that she taught Sophia topics like defensive driving and how to deal with car insurance.

She once again caused her daughter to mock her when she asked her for an example of something that could lead to distracted driving, to which Sophia replied, “You.”

She has also made it a habit to dye her brunette hair jet black with purple or blue highlights.

Last year, Farrah caused controversy when she posted a video of Sophia getting multiple facial piercings for her 14th birthday.

However, she defended herself against concerned fans by pointing out that the piercings had been done by professionals.

Farrah added that she had a problem with parents who looked the other way when it came to underage drinking or teen sex – an attitude she adopted after becoming a teen mother herself – and she hoped that getting Sophia piercings would be a safer, more supervised form of teen rebellion.

Farrah became a reality star and later a social media star after she was cast in MTV’s “16 And Pregnant” in 2009 – even though she was actually 17.

Farrah appeared on

Farrah appeared on “16 And Pregnant” in 2008, when she was actually 17. She gave birth to her child two months after Sophia’s father Derek Underwood was in a car accident; pictured here together in Amsterdam in June 2023

Before Sophia was born, she experienced tragedy when her daughter’s father, Derek Underwood, died in a car accident just two months before her birth.

During Farrah’s time on the show and its sequel, Teen Mom, controversy arose after she filmed two porn videos with porn star James Deen in 2013.

Then, in 2017, she was fired from Teen Mom because of her work in the adult industry, after other stars of the series complained that she was a bad role model.

Nevertheless, she was invited back as a guest for the first season of the sequel series Teen Mom: Family Reunion in 2022.
