Fans of The Elder Scrolls 6 are obsessed with the epic new Skyrim expansion

If you are a fan of The Elder Scrolls series, I hope that Skywind is already on your radar.

However, if this is not the case, it is of utmost importance that I change that.

Obviously we can’t wait The Elder Scrolls VI but this game will probably last several years and therefore we have to wait patiently or impatiently.

As clichéd as it sounds, it is true what they say about Skyrim.

Thanks to its vibrant modding community, it’s a gift that keeps on giving, and while there have been some fantastic mods over the years, I don’t think anything compares to what’s coming. Skywind.

Essentially, the mod team creates The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind In Skyrim‘s engine.

To give you an idea of the quality of the project, it has been in the works for several years now and has been worked on with enormous care and attention.

Skywind “throws off the shackles of the older game and features modern graphics, assets and sounds, a full cast of voice actors, and all the benefits of 15 years of game improvements, while retaining the incredible characters, locations and quests that Morrowind enchanted the world with all those years ago,” the mod’s website states.

Unfortunately, Skywind doesn’t have a release date yet, but the developers have just released an important new feature update.

In case you missed it: Star Wars Outlaws is out now. Check out the game in action below.

In the latest developer deep dive on the Skywind The team presented around two hours of gameplay on its YouTube channel.

Places visited included the fortresses of the Sixth House and the lands of Houses Telvanni and Hlaalu, to name a few.

The team has detailed how all of the building’s interiors were redesigned from scratch, vastly improving the level of detail compared to the original. Morrowind.

Classic features like spellcasting return, and the developers have also addressed voice acting, which we already knew would be included, but it’s nice to hear how this is being expanded to improve the game’s immersion.

Skywind looks phenomenal, but there is still no release date.

Of course we want the developers to take their time, but we also can’t wait to try it out.

I am confident that it will arrive before The Elder Scrolls VI. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
