These days, the show is focusing on quite an interesting narrative where the show has taken a leap of six months and Anupama and Bapuji are staying in an old age home and Vanraj is becoming a big shot, Dimpy, Toshu and Pakhi are being pampered and Kinjal is taking care of the entire house along with Baa.
In today’s episode, we saw Baa proposing marriage to Meenakshi because they want her to get married and settle down as they suspect her of having an affair with Sagar.
Meenakshi tells them that she has just started her career and wants to become a successful doctor and does not want to get married and that they should not force her otherwise it will not work out.
She tells everyone that she rejected the proposal because no one asked her wish and they just called the boy’s party without asking what she wanted. This upset her and she told everyone not to worry and that she would take care of Vanraj.
Fans feel that someone from the Shah family is finally strong and is letting their feelings out and not blindly listening to the family. This was necessary.
Some also say that she is the only person who can stand up to Baa and Vanraj without bowing down and that she is not allowed to change and that she is the one who will bring change in the Shah family.
