Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is a love letter to fans of the franchise, and as such, it’s full of Easter eggs. Here are all the ones we know about.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is poised to break through, fulfilling the dream players have had ever since they discovered the sport was missing from Hogwarts Legacy. Online multiplayer Quidditch matches featuring fan-favorite characters are an exciting prospect.

The team at Unbroken Studios are obviously huge fans of the Harry Potter series and it shows. They have packed a wealth of references from books, movies and very old games into the game.

For this purpose, we have compiled a list of all the Easter eggs in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. Here they are.

PlayStation 1

“Harry, can you get me some fire seeds?”

This is one of the first cosmetic items revealed for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, and represents a profound nod to Harry Potter’s gaming legacy. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or “Sorcerer’s Stone” outside the US) for PlayStation 1 was the very first film tie-in game for the franchise.

For many children at the time, they were the stuff dreams were made of. Looking back, the low-poly characters were the stuff nightmares were made of, and that was especially true of Hagrid, who was forgotten by memes.

As a bonus to Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, players can don a paper mask of the infamous PS1 Hagrid. We’re sure this will be a popular cosmetic choice.

Beuxbatons and Durmstrang in the flesh

Maybe “in the flesh” is the wrong term, but this book is sure to delight fans of the books. While we’ve seen characters from the other European wizarding schools in the Harry Potter films, we’ve never seen the schools themselves.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions gives us a closer look at each school’s Quidditch pitch than we’ve ever seen before. And even better, in the background, we see the first fully rendered version of Beuxbatons and Durmstrang on screen.

Easter Eggs from the Harry Potter Quidditch Champions – Durmstrang

Viktor Krum is the best seeker in the world and he goes to school here.

Durmstrang is located somewhere in the icy regions of Northern Europe, and the playing field reflects that. You can even see the ship that the students used to travel to Hogwarts during the Triwizard Tournament.

To be honest, we just want to go swimming at Beaxbatons pitch.

Beuxbatons, on the other hand, has a much more elegant appearance with marble architecture and a water feature surrounding the playing field. The school itself was built in the style of a castle, fitting for its French location.

Harry’s legendary capture of the Golden Snitch

Harry Potter catching the Golden Snitch in his mouth during his very first Quidditch match is a seemingly random moment in the original story, but one that has great significance to the plot in its final moments. In the minds of many fans, it is also synonymous with the sport of Quidditch itself.

The team at Unbroken Studios recreated this moment in the game as one of Harry’s catching animations. It’s nothing special, but a nice nod to the fans.

The construction

Readers of the Harry Potter books will know that the title character spent several summers at the Weasleys’ house playing Quidditch practice matches. And what better place for the practice field than the red-headed wizard family’s dilapidated house?

There are also plenty of Harry Potter symbols scattered throughout the area, from Mr. Weasley’s flying Ford Angela to the pesky garden gnomes. Technically, this counts as multiple Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Easter eggs.
