To our EPIC Awards This year’s winners are photographer and humanitarian Lisa Kristine. One of several honorees who were featured alongside dozens of thought leaders, all at the forefront of their respective industries, sharing insights and experiences in innovation, education and entertainment. The EPIC Community Artist Prize is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated significant inspiration and brought about positive change within a community.
Humanitarian photographer Lisa Kristine has photographed in over 150 countries on six continents, connecting with people at a heart level. Lisa advocates for causes such as indigenous wisdom, global unity, and modern slavery, mobilizing resources and raising awareness, all in pursuit of a single mission: to create profound change in our global community.
Lisa has used her work as a catalyst, speaking to audiences around the world, including at the United Nations, Parliament, Nobel Summits, Davos, and the Vatican. Her TED talk, “Photos that reveal modern slavery,” has been viewed over three million times.
David Clarke, former head of photography at Tate Modern, described Lisa’s work as “a testimony to the truth and an insightful and inspiring body of evidence that can and should never be denied.”
Her work has been recognized by personalities such as Pope Francis, the Dalai Lama and
Amnesty International. Her impressive work has earned her, among many other awards, the Lucie Humanitarian Award, presented at Carnegie Hall, which recognizes the greatest achievements of master photographers.
The Photographic Society of America selected Lisa as the recipient of the IUTP Award, recognizing significant contributions to promoting mutual understanding and the unique impact of photography on the world.

The EPIC Summit 2024 offers a unique and transformative experience for professionals from a wide range of industries who want to inspire and develop their creative leadership skills. The theme this year is “Striking discoveries, a decisive moment for creative leadership” is from 23 to 25 Septemberth 2024 in the renowned Western Music Academy just steps from the beach in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
As the world becomes more complex and the pace of change increases, this event offers participants the opportunity to separate from a highly technology-saturated world, disturb fixed mindsets and discover new insights to promote more creativity and innovation in their professional and personal lives.
By choosing from a variety of experiential workshops and sessions led by international thought leaders and creativity experts, participants will be equipped with new tools and insights that they can apply to solving the complex problems they face in their environment. The sessions at this event are guided by the EPIC acronym, which stands for Eexperience-based learning, Pout, IIngenuity and CCommunity engagement.

This year we will have several dozen thought leaders, all at the forefront of their respective industries, sharing their insights and experiences in entertainment, innovation and education.
