With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 coming in a few days, Epic Games has just teased its map. Once again, the island will be going through major changes, with new locations being added and old ones being replaced. The trailer for the new season showed us a few new locations, while a new teaser confirmed them. More specifically, the teaser shows where these new locations will be.

In this article, we’ll take a look at the latest Fortnite map teaser. We’ll also reveal the locations that will be removed in Season 4, so keep in mind that the article contains spoilers.

The Fortnite Season 4 map was teased by Epic Games

On Monday morning, Epic Games released a teaser image for the updated Fortnite map. This map will go live later this week as the new season drops on Thursday night. While the teaser doesn’t reveal any new locations, it does show their location on the island. Additionally, we could see new POIs in the trailer shown during the D23 livestream.

“Every place has a story. And every story is still undiscovered… at least for now,” the Fortnite developer posted on X (formerly Twitter). The post also included an image of the new map, where fog covers new locations.

Judging by the picture, these are some of the locations that will change:

  • Spacious hiding place
  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Fine dishes

In addition, many smaller locations on the Fortnite map will also be updated in Season 4. The teaser image does not show the southern part of the island, which has the latest additions like Brutal Beachhead and Redline Rig. However, since this area was affected by a pipeline explosion in the last live event, we expect things to change there as well.

Three characters look out over a vibrant, lush video game landscape of rivers, fields, and distant towns under a clear blue sky.
