Epic Games has revealed a lot of new information about the future of Fortnite in the last few days. First, the company released some extremely rare skins and then made the decision to make future Battle Passes non-exclusive. Two days later, there was a new live event as well as confirmation of the Fortnite Season 4 theme.

The theme of the upcoming season was already leaked in the 2024 roadmap. While the roadmap was almost 100% accurate, we didn’t know the theme for sure. However, thanks to a recent post from Epic, we know what’s coming next season.

Will Fortnite Season 4 have a Marvel theme?

Epic Games and Disney have collaborated many times over the past few years. Their biggest collaboration came in 2020 during Chapter 2, Season 4. The entire Battle Pass was Marvel-themed, and many gameplay elements were, too. According to a recent post from the Fortnite developer, Marvel will also be the theme of Chapter 5, Season 4.

“He who wanders is not lost. Destruction gives birth to powerful beings,” Epic wrote on Official Fortnite Account on X (formerly Twitter). The company also posted an image with the text “To be continued” with both Fortnite and Marvel logos in the corner.

This is no surprise considering Epic started hinting at the theme of the next Fortnite season two months ago. Additionally, several leaks have surfaced in recent weeks, with one content creator even claiming the entire Battle Pass was leaked. Judging by the wording of the teaser post, Doctor Doom and The Wanderer could both be coming to the game with Season 4.

It’s important to note that Epic Games has changed the release date of Fortnite Season 4. Originally, the season was supposed to release on Friday at 2 a.m. Eastern Time. However, the game developer changed it slightly and moved it to Thursday night. Since the season ends earlier, Fortnite players will receive an XP boost starting Tuesday.

With six days left until the new season, we expect Epic to release more teasers soon. Additionally, the Disney livestream will reveal some major news about the future of the game and possibly show off new skins. Anyone who watches the stream for at least 10 minutes will receive the Peelverine plushie, which has already become a fan-favorite item, for free.
