The actor, who plays the legendary magizoologist in the “Fantastic Beasts” films, filmed scenes for the new park, according to “Entertainment Weekly”.
A well-known magizoologist will be part of the new Harry Potter land coming to Universal, according to a Weekly entertainment Source.
Eddie Redmayne will reportedly reprise his role as Newt Scamander for an appearance somewhere in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — at the Ministry of Magic — which is set to open in 2025 as part of the resort’s highly anticipated third theme park, Epic Universe, the insider told the outlet.
The source adds that the new scenes with Redmayne, which have already been filmed, will be seen across the country.

The new Potter land is set mostly in the wizarding Paris of the 1920s, as can be seen in the Fantastic Beasts Franchise. It would make sense for Newt to appear here, as he visits the French capital in The Grindewald’s Crimes and he is still alive.
Although Universal has not confirmed Newt’s presence at the park, let alone his role in it, they have noted that there will be a live theatrical show in which the ringmaster of Cirque Arcanus has stolen Newt’s case of creatures, in which he may well appear.
There will also be wandering wizards that guests can interact with on the street, one of whom could potentially be Newt – but Universal has only revealed that some will be exchange students from Hogwarts and Ilvermorny and one will be a French Auror.

However, both roles would make more sense with a real actor than with a pre-recorded video of Redmayne.
The land’s main attraction, Harry Potter and the Battle for the Ministry, is set not in 1920s Paris but in 1990s London – Harry’s era, not Newt’s. So it would make sense for Newt, who is involved with the British Ministry of Magic, to appear in the setting, but it would require some time travel for him to become part of the attraction’s plot.

Another possibility is that Newt will be part of an as-yet-unannounced attraction that may even take place in the French Ministry of Magic, which would tie the land’s title more closely to its predominantly Parisian setting.

However, EW’s hint that Newt will appear “everywhere” in the country is perhaps the biggest clue.
Like Universal’s other Potter lands, Place Cachée will feature interactive installations where guests can perform magic using a special wand that can be purchased at the park. At least one of these locations, renderings show, involves a Niffler (an adorable magical creature that Newt has several of), so it’s possible he’ll be part of these magic-practice spots.

Fans may have to wait until next year to find out.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is one of five worlds that will make up Universal’s Epic Universe, an all-new theme park – Universal Orlando’s third – that will open in 2025.

The Ministry will be the third Potter-themed land at Universal Orlando Resort, which currently includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios, which opened in 2010 and 2014 respectively.
