Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt have “big ideas” for the sequel to ‘Jungle Cruise’.

The film’s producer, Beau Flynn, praised the “extraordinary chemistry” between the actors in the first film based on the Disney ride and said they were determined to build on that in the sequel.

The producer told Collider: “With ‘Jungle Cruise 2,’ it’s obviously something we really want. I think more important than what Hiram (Garcia, producer) and I want is that Dwayne and Emily have built such an incredible bond. Their chemistry is extraordinary in the first film and I know they know these characters so well now. I know they have big ideas about where to take this universe and this world. So I feel like those two are going to make sure that a ‘Jungle Cruise 2’ gets made at some point.”

Dwayne, Emily and Jack Whitehall will return as Frank Wolff, Dr. Lily Houghton and MacGregor Houghton following the success of the first film, Disney confirmed last year.

Meanwhile, Dwayne’s regular collaborator Hiram has shared a sneak peek at the next “Jumanji” film, in which former wrestler Dr. Xander “Smolder” plays Bravestone, saying they have a “great idea” of what the fourth installment in the rebooted franchise will look like.

He told the outlet, “‘Jumanji’ is definitely going to happen. Jake Kasdan, of course, is directing ‘Red One’ (the upcoming Christmas movie on Prime Video), so he’s working on that right now. But we’re having a lot of conversations about ‘Jumanji.’ We actually have a good idea of ​​what we’re going to do for the next movie. So I know that once he’s done with ‘Red One,’ that’s going to be his next priority for him, and that’s something we definitely want to do.”

The last film in the series was “Jumanji: The Next Level” in 2019.
