Drunk vacationers get hilarious Harry Potter face tattoos

Trends come and go as quickly as the British sun, but for a growing group of holidaymakers, the trend sweeping popular destinations such as Magaluf and Ayia Napa is all about Harry Potter.

We all like a bit of Harry Potter, but it’s usually on DVD or Blu-ray and not the permanent tattoos these people get.

As Metro reports, holiday clubbers are lining up to have Harry’s iconic lightning bolt painted on their heads and the same “scar” inked on their foreheads.

However, these people may be taking the fandom a bit too far…

And as with all good fashion trends, if one person does it, everyone wants to join in…

And as the trend spread, so did the lightning bolts. They all looked a little different and were certainly not a replica of Harry’s famous war wound…

And even if some of the partygoers regretted their decision on the return flight (or even the next morning), help was at hand…

The general opinion (that is, of those who actually have tattoos) seems to accept them and ignore the jokes that are made about them as best they can. We’re not entirely sure if it will impress the boss if you show up to work on Monday morning with the new artwork on your head, but maybe he’ll find the funny side.
