28.08.24 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 list presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best junior racers in the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday night on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Brayden Baehr

Brayden Baehr takes the top spot on this week’s top 10 list after winning both Saturday and Sunday at Dragway 42 this past weekend. He also won at Summit Motorsports Park the two weeks prior and has four wins in four races over the past three weeks. Brayden’s wins at Summit Motorsports Park and Dragway 42 also secured him the 8.90 class championship at both tracks.

2 – Cohen-Reed

Cohen Reed takes second place after winning the Dick Weinle Memorial Race at Edgewater Sports Park. He won both days and went undefeated for 14 rounds, collecting $2,000 and defeating his older brother in one of the finals!

3 – James Pasquariello

James Pasquariello won both Saturday and Sunday at Numidia Dragway last weekend, securing a spot on this week’s top 10 list.

4 – Jack Beutler

Jack Beutler delivered an outstanding performance at Thunder Valley Dragway, reaching three final rounds in three days, earning two second places and one win during the event.

5. Camron Nelson

Camron Nelson rounds out the top five after reaching five finals in his last four race weekends, with four wins and a second place finish. He also secured three junior championships and a second place overall point standings. His most recent win came last weekend at Edinberg Motorsports Park, where he took the IHRA points championship with his electric junior dragster.

6 – Calvin Weaver

Calvin Weaver took the win on Saturday and returned to the finals on Sunday. Last weekend he took second place at Sumerduck Dragway and also secured his first points title!

7 – Greyson Hagood

Greyson Hagood secured a place in this week’s top 10 list by contesting three final rounds in just two weeks, taking two wins and a second place despite driving two different cars.

8 – Kruz Lee

Kruz Lee has reached three finals in the last two weekends. He started with a second place finish at Wabash Valley Dragway and traveled to Coles County Dragway the next night where he earned another second place finish. This past weekend, Lee returned to Wabash Valley Dragway and secured the win.

9 – Sawyer Blevins

Sawyer Blevins secured 9th place after reaching three finals in four weeks, with two wins and a final split interrupted by rain, his most recent win coming last weekend at Union Dragway.

10 (Tie) – Ryan Bell

In the last three weeks, Ryan Bell has two wins, with his most recent victory coming last Saturday. Despite losing an oil drain plug after his time trial, Ryan managed to get his Junior Dragster repaired and ultimately took the win. This win also put him in the top spot in the points standings.

10 (Tie) – Hope Capley

Hope Capley rounds out this week’s top 10 after her win at Ironman Summer Madness at Etheridge Motorsports Park. Aside from ECF week, Hope has reached the winner’s circle six times in her last five appearances at four different courses, with three wins and three second-place finishes.
