The third day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention begins in Chicago on Wednesday, after the second day featured appearances and speeches by figures such as former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, among others.
Other Democratic heavyweights, such as former President Bill Clinton, are also expected to speak at the convention. Vice President Kamala Harris will accept the party’s nomination for president ahead of the convention on Thursday evening.
The convention comes after a turbulent few months for the Democrats, stemming from Biden’s disastrous performance in the debate against former President Donald Trump on June 27. Biden has since decided not to seek re-election and has endorsed Harris as his candidate.

The DNC is scheduled to take place from August 19 to 22 at the United Center in Chicago.

How to watch and stream the DNC 2024
On the remaining days, the convention will be broadcast live from the United Center in Chicago on the convention website between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Eastern Time (6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Central Time).
