The U.S. All-Stars seem to be going wild for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. After defeating Brazil 122-87 in the quarterfinals, the team will face Nikola Jokic and Team Serbia in the semifinals in search of a fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal. Still, the players deserve a little break between games.

Whether watching table tennis or hanging out with other Olympians, the players continue to make the most of their time in France. Just look at Wednesday’s photo of Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker and Olympic legend Michael Phelps. The spontaneous photo, uploaded to the official Suns account on X (formerly Twitter), has drawn a variety of reactions from fans online.

Several fans reacted to the latest photo on social media, asking what the two Olympians, former and current, could talk about.

One fan responded to the post, “Do you think the earth is flat?” Another poster replied, “So this all started when you dropped back and hit a three-pointer in the bubble game against the Clippers.” Additionally, another fan uploaded a meme showing an incredulous Russell Westbrook speaking to reporters. This meme also included the caption, “Phelps: If you watch Titanic backwards, it’s about a magical ship that saves people.”

The 13th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft has become a true superstar of the modern NBA. Devin Booker helped turn the Suns from the bottom of the Western Conference standings into a perennial title contender. Of course, his team was also surrounded by incredible talent.

After the 2020 season, the Suns traded Chris Paul and made it to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks. Then, a few seasons later, they regrouped again. The Suns traded Kevin Durant in 2023 and sent Paul to the Wizards in exchange for Bradley Beal in 2024. It remains to be seen if the Suns’ Big Three can win a title together in an extremely competitive Western Conference, but their chances are as good as any.

However, Booker currently has the goal of winning gold at the Olympics.

Michael Phelps is possibly the greatest Olympian of all time. During his Olympic career, Phelps won 28 medals, the all-time record for most Olympic medals. Of those 28, 23 were gold medals, almost twice as many as his closest rivals. He also won eight of those gold medals in a single Olympics, Beijing 2008. The star-studded photo alone is amazing, but perhaps Phelps’ presence should inspire Booker and the rest of the U.S. team to give their all to bring another gold medal for the United States.
