Devin Booker took to his Instagram stories to preview the upcoming Nike Book 1 “I’ll Do It” pack, which comes in the Swoosh’s dazzling Olympic “Safari/Electric” colorways. The Nike Book 1 special edition features an odd pair, one in all-white leather and the other in navy blue.
The shoes hold a lot of meaning for Booker, as he wore the navy pair while seeking a gold medal at the recent Paris Olympics. The Swoosh logo on both pairs features a safari pattern, giving the Book 1s a unique touch. Although he didn’t wear the white pair on the Olympic court, he revealed that it was the “Home” colorway. The phrase “I’ll Do It” comes from Booker’s response to a tweet from Kyle Kuzma calling on NBA stars to take on important roles for Team USA. In a simple statement, Book responded, “I will.” The online exchange took place 11 months ago, and Book is now a key part of Team USA’s gold team. It is uncertain if the “I’ll Do It” pack will be released generally or as a PE.
