There’s an amazing open world detail hidden in Cyberpunk 2077. I saw it myself and didn’t realize how cool it actually is.
I admit, I did not give Cyberpunk2077 as much of my time as I would have liked.
I had a great time with Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty However, this completely changed the game for the better!
I’ve completed a few endings, a fair amount of side quests, and a bit of Easter egg hunting, but since there are so many great games to play, I’ve barely cracked the 100-hour mark.
I spent most of my time wandering around the open world, especially at night when Night City is lit up like a disgustingly dirty Christmas tree.
However, on my trip I passed one place that I didn’t really pay much attention to, although I wish I had because in hindsight it’s incredibly cool: a tree.
A Reddit thread by FetchingFrog brought the tree to my attention and reminded me that I had actually walked past it before, but hadn’t given it much importance.
That was a mistake because – and you may have noticed this – Night City is a concrete jungle where everywhere you look there is a skyscraper, but there aren’t many trees anywhere…
It turns out that this tree is only one of a few that can actually be found in the city, a testament to how much land was torn up to build this high-tech site.
One fan joked that the tree probably has a “cult following” since it is so rare within city limits.
“CDPR missed a great opportunity for an Easter egg by not including a little plaque that says ‘In memory of a real tree,'” said another.
It is all very Blade Runner 2049but on the other hand, it was obviously a great inspiration for the world of Cyberpunk2077.
