A Nintendo Switch Port of Goat Simulator 3 could be in the pipeline. This is according to a recently surfaced retailer list, which suggests that the crazy open-world game will be released for Nintendo’s hybrid console in November 2024.

Developed by Coffee Stain Studios in Sweden, Goat Simulator 3 had a hilarious reveal in June 2022 before releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and mobile five months later. True to its wacky premise, the game’s name is a joke, as it suggests the existence of Goat Simulator 2which don’t actually exist.

Amazon Japan leaks Switch port for Goat Simulator 3

An Amazon Japan page dedicated to the Switch version of Goat Simulator 3 went live in early August 2024. The listing, first spotted by Nintendo Everything, suggests that Coffee Stain’s wacky action-adventure is set to launch on November 7 for the Switch. The page mentioned both physical and digital versions of the game, but it has since been removed. The alleged Switch port will be published by Plaion, a subsidiary of the Embracer Group, formerly known as Koch Media, according to the same source.

If this recently discovered listing is genuine, then the Switch is expected to receive Goat Simulator 3 just ten days before the game’s second anniversary. As a reminder, the original game took nearly half a decade to be ported to the Switch, having only reached Nintendo’s console in January 2019. And while its slapstick gameplay helped elevate it to meme status, Goat Simulator was rated rather poorly. The sequel fared much better in this respect, with many critics praising Goat Simulator 3 for its huge open world, crazy quests, extensive customization options, and highly entertaining multiplayer mode, among other qualities.

The listing on Amazon Japan also indicated that the Switch version of the game will come with the Digital Downgrade DLC. This add-on was originally released along with Goat Simulator 3 itself and promised players “random goat junk” like extra costumes and a digital version of the game’s soundtrack for an additional $10. The basic version of Goat Simulator 3 costs $29.99, which is presumably also the price of the future Switch version. On a related note, Nintendo players can currently purchase the Switch version of the original game at 80% off, bringing the price down to $5.99 until August 12.

This early listing is not the first Goat Simulator Leak that has appeared online in recent days. At the end of July, a Taiwanese regulator published an assessment for Goat Simulator Remasteredsuggesting that a modernized version of the 2014 game is on the way for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
