Not all Dunkins are the same. Here in Greater Danbury, there are some that do a great job and others that barely do anything right. So when I saw a Reddit post from Connecticut about how to spot a “good” Dunkin’, I had to learn more.
The article came from a CT Reddit User passing by Sweeping Dad who wrote:
Everyone knows there are good and bad Dunkin’ in CT. I’m going to tell you how to find a good Dunkin.
Checklist:
- Has no passage 2: Sign is faded/broken
- The music in the store is either pop or Latin music
- The employees seem to know the customers
- Understaffed
The three “good” Dunkin’s near me have this, and that way I know if I’m going to a good cafe when I’m not at home.
I hope you agree and comment what else you are looking for
Edit: Or just go to Speedys Donuts in Norwalk
The pop/Latin music is fantastic and very on point. When you walk in and hear loud beats, you know you’re in for a wild (but not great) ride. There’s a Dunkin in Danbury that always doesn’t have what I want or “the machine is broken.” This machine has been broken for over a decade.
Maybe call a repair service? We all know the truth: the machine is not broken, you just don’t want to use it.

Powerful Connecticut radio station gains traction after 48 years on the air
I-95 has been on the air in Connecticut for 48 years, and while other radio stations wither and disappear, we’re constantly improving. Today I got to witness an aspect of the business I don’t normally get to see: the installation of massive machines that make us all sound better.
