STAPLES – The community is invited to the Central Lakes College Ag & Energy Research Center’s annual Field Day, August 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ag & Energy Center, 26505 County Road 2, Staples.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
This event will give you the opportunity to attend numerous agricultural demonstrations, meet industry professionals and learn about the latest innovations in the field.
Event highlights:
- Morning Tours (9:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m.): Choose from sessions focusing on topics such as precision irrigation, edible bean research, local foods, drone spraying and more.
- Afternoon events (12pm-3pm): Free lunch, explore the Living Legacy Gardens and enjoy ice cream while experiencing traditional Scandinavian violin music by Skal Klubben.
There will also be exciting demonstrations including drone flights, tractor rides and drives, and grazing tips from the NRCS Grazing Trailer.
