Comes on early for David Ortega

Comes on early for David Ortega

Designation 2 in Wilderness Camp – Comes early for David Ortega

On the second day of “I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” on RTL+ (Saturdays from 8:15 p.m. on RTL), the tension rose once again. Above all, the completely renewed David Ortega (38) repeatedly caused excitement among the campers.

He often assigned roles to himself and others, appointed himself team leader, Hanka Rackwitz (55) peacemaker and Winfried Glatzeder (79) theater director. When he approached Thorsten Legat (55) for a discussion about group dynamics, he categorically refused: “Fuck off.” Eric Stehfest (35) told Ortega that Legat would have “torn you to pieces” if the cameras hadn’t been there, a warning that Legat himself agreed with.

At dinner, Ortega, now an outsider, criticized the ribs the others had prepared. “Decomposing corpses. Sad fate,” he mused. To cope with the dead animal, he began to call it “Sybille” in his inner monologues: “Sybille was here, and now we’re eating her ribs.”

Contraband in the jungle settlement!

Although everyone enjoyed the dinner, it raised questions: “Where do we get the salt from?” wondered Winfried. In fact, professional camper Giulia Siegel (49) had once again smuggled spices. Unlike smuggler Gigi Birofio (25), who only brought cigarettes. When he ran out of cigarettes, he dared to ask for more. When he was reminded of his smuggling, he quickly apologized: “I don’t need them, just do your job, no problem!” and immediately put the empty pack away. Will this affect the group dynamic?

In the evening, around the campfire, Mola Adebisi (51), Winfried and Legat had a profound discussion about the fragility of life and aging. Winfried admitted that he could not imagine aging at 50. “Honestly, Winfried, I’m terribly afraid of it,” admitted Legat. And the film icon added: “And then you’re stuffed full of spare parts, and if they cremate you one day, you’re hazardous waste.”

Tears by Thorsten Legat

Eric “Machine” Stehfest, on the other hand, is still in top form. Since he excelled last time, the “GZSZ” star was assigned another jungle test. Before that, Legat had expressed his frustration that Hanka had not volunteered for the test. “They are sneaky people,” he complained. That was too much for the sensitive Hanka, who tearfully explained that she was afraid of exams, did not want to prove herself and wanted to leave, but needed the money. Even Legat found compassion during the reconciliation and shed tears when he realized: “Not everyone can perform. Sometimes I despise myself for it. Because I have been conditioned to do so my whole life.”

In the area of performance recovery: Eric Stehfest had no problems in his solo test. In a sinking boat, the actor had to collect 12 stars among entrails, snakes, bugs and baby crocodiles. With unwavering concentration and a steady hand, Eric collected one star after another and then did a backwards somersault off the boat just seconds before the time ran out. “The worst part was that disgusting fish slime. It smells like that in the darkroom sometimes,” he concluded. Without knowing it, his outstanding performance not only won him friends, but also cemented his position as a formidable competitor for his colleagues.

David Ortega’s departure

Despite the joy over Stehfest’s sumptuous meal, Ortega was chosen as the first source of conflict. The former heartthrob was the first person to be eliminated by the audience in 2016. This year, the campers made the decision, but the end result was the same: David apparently lacks what it takes to survive the jungle camp.

The commission may need to investigate the smuggling incident in the jungle settlement. Despite the tensions, the commission should discuss David Ortega’s behavior and possible reasons for his conflict with others.
