Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers

The Cincinnati Reds (56-60) lost to the Brewers (66-49) 8-3 on Friday night.

In the second game of the three-game series, the Reds will turn to Nick Martinez. The right-hander will make his seventh start of the season for the Reds and will have back-to-back starts for the first time since April 25 and 30.

In his last outing, Martinez pitched five scoreless innings and had five strikeouts in a 10-3 win over the Miami Marlins.

Tobias Myers will start for the Brewers. Myers has a 6-5 record and a 3.02 ERA in 86 1/3 innings pitched this season. He threw five innings and allowed just one run in a 4-3 loss to the Washington Nationals last Sunday.

The second game of the series begins Saturday night at 7:10 p.m. ET.
