The Reds placed Hunter Greene on the 15-day injured list on Saturday afternoon due to right elbow soreness. The change is retroactive to August 14.
Cincinnati announced that no such changes to the roster are expected today.
Greene was the Reds’ best pitcher this season with a record of 9-4 and a 2.83 ERA, the fourth-best in Major League Baseball.
