The first week of the 2024 NFL preseason is over, and the Cincinnati Bengals are already in Chicago to face the Bears in Week 2 on Saturday. We’re well on our way to the first real NFL football since the Super Bowl, and there’s a lot to talk about.

Kevin and I were back on Three and outand we discussed some of the key storylines ahead of the second week of preseason.

We shared our thoughts on the contract situation between the Bengals and Chase and both agreed that the longer the situation goes on, the more expensive it will be for the Bengals.

We talked about Amarius Mims’ chest strain, how concerned we were about it, and how it could impact the rest of the roster, particularly who the Bengals might need to keep if Mims is out for an extended period of time (cough, Carman, thought).

Finally, we also asked a few hypothetical questions about which players would have to play a big game on Saturday.
