The makers of Vicky Kaushal’s much-awaited epic saga Chhaava have released the teaser on August 19, 2024, and it is clear that the actor is giving goosebumps to fans and cinema enthusiasts. It seems that Stree aka Shraddha Kapoor is also hooked by the intense teaser and is eager to watch the film in theatres but can’t wait for the release date!

Taking to Instagram, Kapoor re-shared the teaser video and expressed her excitement about the film. The Stree 2 actress wrote, “Ye Pichar toh pakka dekhni hai!!, ab release ke liye 6th December tak wait karvaoge.”

The makers of the film have unveiled the official teaser for Chhaava. This historical drama depicts the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The teaser features Vicky Kaushal in an impressive new role highlighted by dramatic war scenes. The URI actor delivers an impressive performance that promises a captivating visual experience.

In the teaser, Vicky is shown heroically fighting against a huge army of warriors. His fierce roar and imposing presence on the turbulent battlefield are sure to evoke strong reactions. The teaser also features Akshaye Khanna, who stands out in a notable antagonistic role.

In the film, Rashmika plays Mandanna Yesubai Bhonsale, the wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It is directed by Laxman Utekar, who previously worked with Vicky Kaushal in Zara Bachke Zara Hatke. This is the first time that Vicky and Rashmika are working together.

The film stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to release on December 6 and is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kaushal has also acted in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Pinkvilla previously revealed that Love and War is one of SLB’s most ambitious projects and he is currently focused on the pre-production of the film. Over the past few months, Bhansali has been finalizing the music and doing several script readings with Ranbir, Alia and Vicky.

This film is a departure from Bhansali’s usual period dramas and he is excited to add his distinctive touch to this intense romance. The director plans to start shooting in the last quarter of 2024.
