Chair and Vice-Chair appointed for World Scout Committee 2024-2027

Daniel Corsen from Curacao was elected Chair of the World Scout Committee for the three-year period 2024-2027, together with Mori Chi-Kin Cheng from Hong Kong And Julius Kramer from Sweden who will serve as the two Vice-Chairs of the Committee.

The Chair and Vice-Chairs were appointed by the newly elected 12 voting members of the World Scout Committee on 22 August 2024, on the fifth day of the 43rd World Scout Conference taking place this week in Cairo, Egypt.

The World Scout Committee is the governing body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and is one of the three bodies of the organization, along with the World Scout Conference and the World Scout Bureau as the other two, as defined in the WOSM Constitution.

The World Scout Committee is responsible for implementing the decisions of the World Scout Conference and represents the Conference between its meetings on behalf of the Conference. The recently elected 12 voting members of the World Scout Committee are listed in alphabetical order by last name:

According to the constitutional provisions of WOSM, the mandate of the World Scout Committee shall begin with the conclusion of the 43rd World Scout Conference and end with the conclusion of the 44th World Scout Conference in 2027.
