Caitlin Clark’s immediate reaction to Stephen Curry’s epic gold medal game

Caitlin Clark’s immediate reaction to Stephen Curry’s epic gold medal game

The United States basketball team defeated France in the gold medal game on Saturday. France challenged the United States throughout the contest, but Stephen Curry was at his best late in the game and couldn’t miss from beyond the three-point line. The United States eventually won 98-87, with Curry leading the way with 24 points and eight three-pointers. Caitlin Clark noticed Curry’s performance and responded with two words on her Instagram story.

“Cheat code,” Clark wrote.

Curry could be described as a “cheat code.” France was only a few points behind Team USA before Curry took the lead late in the fourth quarter. With the USA leading 82-79, Curry made a three-pointer that electrified the crowd. He would sink three more three-pointers in a row as the USA pulled away from France.

For Curry, who is 35 years old, this could be his last Olympics. Curry certainly ended his Olympic career on a high note if this is indeed the last time the Golden State Warriors star competes for a gold medal.

Caitlin Clark has been left off the U.S. women’s basketball team’s roster. The U.S. women’s team will try to win their own gold medal against France on Sunday. Despite Clark’s absence, they were successful, but perhaps Clark will be on the roster for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Clark has helped the WNBA grow tremendously due to her undeniable popularity. She is a fan favorite who people enjoy watching play. The same goes for Angel Reese, who is also a star rookie. It would be no surprise to see the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky stars playing for Team USA in four years.

Right now, the US women’s team is preparing for its gold medal match, while the US men’s team is celebrating its impressive victory over France.
