Business owners are encouraged to take a survey to help San Diego County improve its information on contract opportunities.

The goal is to find out what businesses (including nonprofits) need to successfully bid to provide goods and services that help the County serve the public.

This information will help the County make improvements to its procurement and contracting program and increase the diversity of businesses that successfully bid or propose contracts with the County – particularly local small businesses.

The county is one of the largest buyers in the region, spending about $2 billion annually to equip departments with everything they need, from pencils to new buildings.

The district regularly organizes Free workshops to educate small businesses about how to do business with the county.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available until September 30. Questions Ask for Feedback on past Offer and proposal Experiences, input on Opportunities for improvement the process and Preferences for improved public relations and technical support.
