BTS’ Jin appeared as a featured guest on the South Korean variety show Half-Star Hotel in Lost, and clips from the episode are circulating online. The artist is seen engaging in various activities with lots of energy and enthusiasm, and his adorable antics manage to break through even Ahn Sung Hwan’s hard shell.

On August 19, 2024, BTS’ Jin guest-starred on the variety show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island and melted the audience’s hearts with his cuteness. Not only the audience was blown away by him, but also the hosts of the show, especially Ahn Sung Hwan.

The host is known for his tough demeanor and he always means business without wasting much time on chatter. But he couldn’t escape Jin’s charm and immediately melted with his words.

Jin is seen on a remote island doing various activities, including fishing and even doing physical labor all day long. He experienced both failures and successes in many attempts, but he never stopped doing what he had to do.

While cutting bamboo for another task, Jin noticed Ahn Sung Hwan turning around in the middle of work. The K-pop star started to complain playfully and asked the host to clap for him. Without hesitation, Ahn Sung Hwan immediately clapped for Jin and everyone was pleasantly surprised.

Jin was discharged from the military a few days ago and this show is his first television appearance after a long break. After his discharge from the military on June 13, 2024, the artist made his first public appearance to celebrate the group’s 11th anniversary with his fans at Jamsil Arena as part of FESTA 2024.

Jin is also discussed about releasing self-produced content under BIGHIT Music in the near future, which will feature him engaging in various outdoor activities. However, the rest of BTS members are currently enlisted in the South Korean Army and are expected to be discharged sometime in 2025.

Jin made his debut as a K-pop idol in 2013 with the K-pop group BTS alongside RM, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook and Jimin. The artist made his official solo debut in 2022 with the single The Astronaut.
