WACO, Texas – outstanding UIndy football player Michael Brown received preseason recognition this week, being named to D2Football.com’s Elite 100 Watch List. Selected by the D2Football.com staff with input from numerous incumbent head coaches as well as veteran professional football scout Josh Buchanan, Brown was given “Squad” status on the annual list.
Brown, a senior safety and team captain for the Hounds, earned a preseason nomination from D2Football.com for the second consecutive year. The Indy native is a three-time All-GLVC player – including first-team honors the previous two years – and was named to the All-Super Region 3 Second Team in 2022.
Brown’s inclusion marked the third consecutive year UIndy was featured on the list (see below). The fifth-year senior safety and his Greyhound teammates will open the 2024 roster on Sept. 7 with a road game at G-MAC contender Hillsdale.
