The latest version of the popular INSTAX smartphone printer series has been enhanced with numerous technologically advanced features
VALHALLA, NY, Aug. 13, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Imaging Division, today announced the launch of its FUJIFILM INSTAX MINI LINK 3™ (Mini Link 3) smartphone printer. When paired with the free downloadable INSTAX MINI LINK app, Mini Link 3 offers a host of new, unique features to encourage creativity, including augmented reality and collage options for customizing images.

INSTAX AiR Studio™
The INSTAX AiR Studio feature of the INSTAX MINI LINK app gives users a variety of new options for taking pictures using augmented reality (AR). This app feature allows users to add 3D AR effects to an image before taking the photo with their smartphone, and then print the photo with the effects on INSTAX MINI instant film (required and sold separately) using their Mini Link 3. Users have a variety of options when using INSTAX AiR Studio, including choosing a background template, adding decorative images such as balloons, hearts and garlands, and even animated effects.
With the INSTAX MINI LINK app, up to 20 INSTAX AiR Studio image creations can be saved in the app for later printing or sharing.

INSTAX MINI LINK app users take a series of six images three seconds apart, then select two, four or six images to be printed as a collage on an INSTAX MINI photo, creating a photo booth-like experience. The series of images is then automatically converted into an animation that can be shared directly to social media via the app.
Triple LED lighting
For the first time in the INSTAX LINK series, bright pastel-colored LEDs on the front indicate the Mini Link 3’s functionality, including print status and battery level.
Lightweight portability and speed
Mini Link 3 is compact, lightweight and features a textured design with built-in LED accent lighting. It transfers an image from the user’s smartphone and starts printing in about 15 seconds, supports continuous printing and can easily print about 100 INSTAX MINI instant photos per charge when paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth. The development time of INSTAX MINI instant film (sold separately) is about 90 seconds.
Ability to customize INSTAX MINI photos with picture modes, design frames, stickers and more
The INSTAX MINI LINK app includes a variety of design frames that can be overlaid on a selected smartphone image to create a unique INSTAX MINI instant photo. Users can choose between two image color modes – INSTAX Rich Mode for deep, enhanced colors and INSTAX Natural Mode for a more original look. Smartphone images can also be enhanced using the app’s artistic filters or by adjusting the brightness, contrast and saturation of the image.
Mini Link 3 will be offered in pink, clay white and sage green and is expected to be available in late August for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $99.95 USD or $129.99 CAD.
New INSTAX MINI instant film variant introduced
Accompanying the launch of the Mini Link 3 will be the new INSTAX MINI Sprinkles instant film, featuring a colorful border design reminiscent of rainbow sprinkles. This new 10-pack of INSTAX MINI instant film is also expected to be available in late August at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $15.75 USD or $14.99 CAD.
