(Car Tag)Ka’Morreun Pimpton (/Car Tag) was one of the most highly anticipated recruits of the 2023 recruiting class and caused a lot of excitement when he arrived on campus.

At 6’6″ and 230 pounds, Pimpton is athletic and unmatched by many. In high school, he was the guy you could rely on on third downs. At LSU, he had to learn how to do the dirty work of a tight end.

Being a tight end in the SEC isn’t just about catching passes, you have to be willing to put your body on the line and block for your running backs. It’s like being a fullback or an offensive lineman: the job isn’t glamorous, the work is grueling, and you never seem to get any recognition unless you do something wrong.

As a sophomore, Pimpton seems to have adjusted to working as both a blocking tight end and a receiving tight end. He will get a lot of playing time this fall and had a great fall training camp.
