Booker T explains why Chris Jericho has achieved good results in his career

In the latest episode of the Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker T talked about Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens’ challenge to Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at Bash in Berlin, and more. Check out some highlights below:

About Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens: “Sometimes you have to go in there unprepared to find an opening. This could be the start of something that’s brewing, or it could just be an unprepared match where KO gets a shot at the title. We don’t know if he’s going to turn on Cody Rhodes or something. Or it could be a match where they go right in and just give us a five-star match at the Bash. That could be it. I never try to look too far into it. But one thing I do know is that if they go out there and give me a banger match, I’ll be damn happy. I’ll say that about a damn good match. Now, if they go out there and Kevin Owens happens to flip the script and something happens and he comes from a different angle, totally different than the Kevin Owens we’re seeing right now, that could happen too. But I’m not going to look too far into it before that actually happens. I think we get a little stuck there sometimes.”

On Chris Jericho’s good performance in wrestling: “Chris Jericho was a good fighter his whole career. He was a guy who pretty much believed in his talent. He really was that good when he was coming up, he really was. He’s a real man, as far as I’m concerned. As far as the business goes, he didn’t mind getting into a fight. He fought back whether he was going to win the fight or not, or whether you thought he was going to win the fight or not. That’s what I mean, you know. And a lot of guys would rather not fight because they don’t want to get in trouble. But sometimes you fight and you get respect. People might want to say something, but they don’t want to say it to your face.”
