BOERNE, Texas – The Boerne All-Stars were welcomed into town with a parade Monday to celebrate their remarkable run at the Little League World Series.

The City of Boerne and the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce have partnered to host a World Series Celebration.

“The Boerne community cheered on this incredible team as they made their historic run to Williamsport, PA,” said City Manager Ben Thatcher. “We want to welcome them home with a party that is worthy of their hard work and determination that has captivated us all.”

Many gathered along Main Street despite the rain to celebrate their Little League team making it to the Little League World Series.

“It was so inspiring to see the community rally behind this team,” said Kim Blohm, president and CEO of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce. “We had so many business owners and nonprofits willing to donate their time and services during this run and help put on this World Series Celebration.”

At the parade, the team was greeted by a sea of ​​fans, some of whom had already set up their chairs at 1 p.m.

“I’m very excited. I love watching baseball,” said Joann Leos, one of their fans. “I love cheering them on and giving them our support. We’re proud of them for making it through Pennsylvania and back to Boerne, Texas.”
