The fan who was invited on stage at a recent performance did not seem to know the lyrics of the band’s 2001 single.
A Blink-182 Fan has gone viral after making a disastrous attempt to recite one of their most famous songs on stage.
The pop-punk trio is currently on the North American leg of their One more time On a tour and in footage of a recent performance, a fan was invited on stage to join in the performance of her First Date single.
However, she didn’t get very far into the song before it became clear that she wasn’t familiar with the 2001 single that appeared on the band’s album. Take off your pants and jacket Album and seemed to sing the lyrics All the little things instead.
The band – consisting of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus And Travis Barker – took it mostly with humor, while DeLonge – who normally sings lead vocals on this track – eventually took the mic again for the second verse.

TikTok followers were not impressed with the playback.
Retired Emo wrote: “I was there, guys, in reality it was much worse”
Calks added, “Just imagine the people in the crowd who say this song is their favorite song having it delivered to them like this.”
Frankie Espinoza wrote: “New fans are freaking out because they don’t know the original titles”
One fan recalled a classic episode of Family Guy and commented, “This reminds me of Family Guy when Lois didn’t know a single KISS song and sang gibberish.”
However, one fan stood up for the other, writing: “Look… sometimes when you’re in front of an audience you forget the lyrics because you’re so caught up in your thoughts. This has happened to me before.”
