Blake Lively’s son Olin’s first birthday was unforgettable!
The former Gossip Girl actress hilariously revealed during a recent appearance on BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball and Friends that she baked her son a boob-themed cake to celebrate the milestone.
“My birthday cakes always have a sense of humor, for my baby I just made a giant set of T-shirts,” Lively told Ball, bursting into laughter.
“I have a feeling this will haunt him for the rest of his life,” she added jokingly.
The 36-year-old “It Ends With Us” actress explained that her son was too young to express his wishes, so she allowed herself some creative freedom.
“But what do they want all of a sudden? He can’t say what he wants. So, tits!”
“I’ll show you a picture later, they’re pretty amazing,” she said, before clarifying: “Of the cake, not mine… But also amazing.”
Lively is an avid baker and occasionally shares her sweets on her social media pages. In recent years, she has baked a lifelike watermelon cake, a sleeping unicorn and a few “birthday cakes” – her husband Ryan Reynolds’ favorite treat.
She even appeared on the Great British Baking Show last year and once had her own cooking and lifestyle blog called Preserve.
Page Six confirmed in February 2023 that Lively and Reynolds, who married in 2012, had welcomed their fourth child.
However, the couple kept the gender and name of their little one secret for over a year. Reynolds announced his son’s unusual Nordic moniker in a sentimental speech at the premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverine” last month.
“First of all, I want to thank my wife Blake, who is here,” he said on stage. “I want to thank my children James, Inez, Betty and Olin, who are here. I hope that this moment – if I’m lucky – will be the most traumatic thing that can happen to you in your wonderful life, which is the content of this film.”
Reynolds, 47, and Lively also have daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4.
A week later, while speaking to John Bell, a Wrexham AFC fan who was mourning the loss of his own son, Reynolds revealed that Olin was a boy.
“I want to let you know that I, too, have a son and that if… boy, John, if I love him even a tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a damn good job,” Reynolds said in a video shared on Instagram.
Although the A-list couple keeps their children out of the public eye, Olin and Inez had small roles in the new Marvel film.
While the 7-year-old was listed as Kid Pool in the credits, Olin was given the name Baby Pool.
Shawn Levy, the film’s director and Olin’s “proud godfather,” later called the baby’s voice cameo his “favorite.”
