Beyoncé’s six-year-old daughter is already an “amazing artist and creator.”
The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer has 12-year-old Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir with her husband Jay-Z. Their own mother Tina Knowles revealed that although the youngest children are very different, they have already found their passions in life.
Tina gushed to E! News: “Rumi is incredible – an incredible artist, painter and creator. How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? We only talk about creativity and fashion.”
Tina explained that Sir is more reserved than his sisters, describing the boy as “very, very smart,” adding: “Sir is very quiet. He does all the number stuff, so he’s not that interested in fashion.”
Meanwhile, the show business matriarch admitted she was “very excited” about Beyonce’s move into country music.
She said, “We’re from Texas. We’ve been part of this culture for a long time and I was very excited about it.”
She praised her daughter’s new album, “Cowboy Carter,” as a “nice history lesson” for her fans, adding, “She has a way of doing things subtly but educationally, and I’m really proud of that.”
Not only did she make history as the youngest woman to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 with her appearance on Beyoncé’s “Protector” – a record previously held by Blue Ivy, who was seven when she appeared on her mother’s “Brown Skin Girl” in 2019 – but Rumi also helped the former Destiny’s Child singer release her concert film “Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce” in November.
The 43-year-old star told his daughter in a video clip: “Rumi, now I’m going to teach you a trick. You have to turn it on its side.”
Rumi can be heard exclaiming, “Side!” as the phone is turned over, before Beyoncé says, “Yes, there we have it.”
The preview was shared during NBC’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (11/23/23), where Grammy winner Beyoncé wished her fans happy holidays.
In a pre-recorded video message, she said: “Hey, this is Beyoncé, wishing you and your family a happy Thanksgiving. It is my great honor to give you the first look at the new movie trailer ‘Renaissance.'”
