Bengal’s jungle government claims Chouhan raped and murdered the doctor’s case in Calcutta

Bhopal, Aug 17 (PTI) – Indian minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday demanded justice for the junior doctor raped and murdered in a government hospital in Kolkata and said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has become “nirmam” (ruthless) and is ruling “jungle raj” in her state.
The rape and murder of a junior doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9 has sparked nationwide outrage and triggered protests by doctors across the country.
During a demonstration against the heinous crime in the early hours of August 15, a mob looted parts of the hospital.
Speaking to reporters, Chouhan said the incident was a stain on the face of civilised India.
“The Chief Minister of this state (West Bengal) should be ashamed that such an incident has taken place and that those who protested against it were attacked for their protest,” he said, demanding justice for the doctors.
“Mamataji has become a ‘nirmam’ (ruthless) people in West Bengal. Jungle raj is prevailing. The situation should change. The victim should get justice and the accused should be punished,” he said.
The Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also said in his Independence Day speech that such criminals must be punished in such a way that fear is created and no one commits such crimes again.
Chouhan visited villages in Budhni assembly area of ​​Sehore district on Saturday and interacted with the people.
The Union Minister also informed about the decisions taken by the Central Government, including the construction of two million houses for the poor in rural areas.
