There are a billion reasons why another Jurassic World It’s no surprise

It feels like it happened half a lifetime ago, but Jurassic World: Domination was released in June 2022. Although it was not exactly well-received by critics, the film was exceptionally successful commercially, grossing over a billion dollars at the box office worldwide. When you hit a billion in a post-COVID world, reviews barely count for anything compared to that number. However, even with a billion dollar box office, the COVID-related delays in filming really hurt this production, and it seemed like Universal was moving on. We really shouldn’t be surprised that they’re not involved with this franchise, because as I said, this is the third film in the series to gross over a billion dollars at the box office. David Koeppwho wrote the original Jurassic Park and its sequel, is said to be writing this new part. Director Gareth Edwards is attached to directly. Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Mahershala Ali, Luna Blaise, And David Iacono have joined the cast with a release date of July 2, 2025.
