Baylor Athletics and TFNB – Your Bank for Life – renew partnership

WACO, Texas — Baylor and TFNB Your Bank for Life have renewed their partnership, continuing a long-standing relationship as the official local bank of Baylor Athletics.

“We are grateful for our relationship with TFNB and all they do to support the Baylor family,” said Mack Rhoades IV, vice president and director of Intercollegiate Athletics. “As the official bank of Baylor Athletics, TFNB is a great partner that is truly committed to the Waco community. Their continued support has a huge impact on Baylor Athletics and our mission to prepare champions for life.”

The renewed partnership will provide a variety of opportunities for TFNB to support the mission of Baylor Athletics, Preparing champions for life. TFNB celebrates a 10thth Season of Charity Champions initiative, which highlights local nonprofits that have had tremendous impact on the community. Recent Charity Champions honorees include Archway of Hope, Creative Waco, Foster Village Waco, Imagination Library of Waco, JMB Fishing and The Hanger.


TFNB Your Bank for Life also serves as a football game sponsor for the season highlight against Tarleton and the homecoming duel against Oklahoma State.


The McLane Stadium parking lot, where thousands of Baylor fans gather for tailgating before games, will continue to be sponsored by TFNB.


In addition, TFNB will expand its partnership to specifically support Baylor’s nationally recognized men’s golf program as well as its acrobatics and tumbling program, which just won its ninth consecutive national championship title.

TFNB was founded in 1889 as the First National Bank of McGregor. TFNB is the oldest bank in McLennan County and the seventh oldest national bank in Texas still operating under its original charter. This year it celebrates its 135th anniversary.th Year 2024. TFNB recently opened its new branch in Woodway, marking its sixth location in McLennan County.
