Tovino Thomas, who received a lot of attention for his film Minnal Murali And 2018 – Everyone is a hero all over India, will once again delight audiences with his latest project, ARM – a pan-Indian fantasy film. Since its announcement, the film has been generating a lot of excitement as the actor is playing three roles in it and now the filmmakers have decided to increase the anticipation by unveiling the trailer of the film over a week before its release.
ARM: The film, starring Tovino Thomas, promises to be a timeless epic spanning three timelines
The trailer opens with a striking image of a fiery asteroid hitting the earth, causing a massive explosion and scattering celestial particles, as an old woman narrates the story of Maniyan. We then witness the violence that ensues as the protagonist is introduced. The 2 minute and 33 second trailer unfolds a narrative set in northern Kerala across different timelines: 1900, 1950 and 1990. Tovino portrays three different characters – Maniyan, Kunjikkelu and Ajayan – all striving to protect a vital treasure of the country across different generations. With the aim of portraying Kerala’s rich culture, ARM promises to be a visual spectacle with powerful scenes.
As Minnal Murali Hero Tovino Thomas is celebrating his 50th film. The actor has admitted that he has undergone extensive training to play all three roles. He has learnt Kalaripayattu to perform the fast-paced action sequences that play a key role in the film.
Starring Krithi Shetty, Aiswarya Rajesh and Surabhi Lakshmi in lead roles, while well-known actors Basil Joseph, Jagadish, Harish Uttaman, Harish Peradi, Pramod Shetty and Rohini play key roles in the film. Sujith Nambiar wrote the screenplay and Dibu Nainan Thomas composed the music for this masterpiece. Directed by debutant Jithin Lal, the film is produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames and UGM Motion Pictures, with Dr. Zakaria Thomas, ARM is completely in 3D with visuals by Jomon T. John and exciting stunts by Vikram Moore and Phoenix Prabhu of Kantara Fame.
ARM is scheduled to release on September 12, 2024 in six languages: Malayalam, Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada on the occasion of Onam. The film will be distributed by major industry players, with Hombale Films handling the Kannada release, Mythri Movie Makers Distributors in Telugu and Anil Thadani’s AA Films in Hindi.
