Arkansas State Announces Game Themes and Giveaways for 2024 Football Games

The Arkansas State Athletic Department has announced its full schedule of game themes, sponsors and giveaways for its six home games at Centennial Bank Stadium during the Red Wolves’ 2024 football season.

All six of A-State’s home games next season will be played on a Saturday, including the home and season opener against in-state rival Central Arkansas on Aug. 31. The first 1,500 fans to enter the gates at 6 p.m. for the game will receive free magnets featuring the Arkansas State Football League schedule presented by St. Bernards.

Arkansas State’s esports team, founded in 2019, will provide video game consoles loaded with EA Sports’ College Football 25 for students to play on the student deck, which was renamed the Patio at the Pines this year. Fans will also have the opportunity to see Howl again on a Harley Davidson for the first time when he leads the Red Wolves onto the field during their 2024 season.

A-State will play its first two games of the season at Centennial Bank Stadium and will be back in action on Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. for the Paint the Stadium Red game against American Athletic Conference member Tulsa. Fans are asked to wear their red jerseys in the contest, which concludes the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce’s traditional Paint the Town Red week.

The first 1,000 fans to enter the stadium will receive a free cap with the Red Wolves and sponsor Greenway logos. As part of Band Day, more than 500 members of a high school band will perform with the Sound of the Natural State. A-State Esports will be back on the Patio at the Pines, where students can once again challenge members of the Esports team in the College Football 25 game.

The 2024 Arkansas State Homecoming Game, presented by Big River Steel, is set for October 5th, with the Red Wolves playing their Sun Belt Conference opener against South Alabama at 6 p.m. A-State will not only recognize its 2024 Homecoming Court at halftime, but will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of its Alumni Association throughout the day.

Courtesy of SERVPRO, replica Arkansas State jerseys in youth sizes will be presented to the first 1,000 fans ages 12 or younger to come through the gates.

Arkansas State’s fourth home game of the season is presented by several Ag Day sponsors and celebrates the important role agriculture plays in the lives of all Arkansas residents. The Red Wolves’ 6 p.m. game against Troy on Oct. 26 will also be celebrated as Education Day and will include a special tribute to Extra Yard for Teachers scholarship winners.

Earlier this year, A-State announced plans to honor the 50th anniversary of women’s sports at the school throughout the 2024-25 school year. Before the game against Troy, the athletic department will host a special tailgate party at Dustin White Realty Tailgate City with many of its current and former students, coaches and staff members. As part of the year-long celebration, the first 1,500 fans through the gates will also receive a sticker with the 50th anniversary logo.

A-State’s Hall of Honor Class of 2024 will be honored during the Oct. 26 game, which also serves as A-State’s Employee Appreciation Day. All employees and their families will have access to the top level of the Patio at the Pines.

Presented by Barton & Company and themed “Heroes’ Day” to honor military members, veterans, first responders, healthcare workers and many others for their service to our country and communities, there will be special ticket promotions for these groups for A-State’s game against ULM on November 23rd.

There will be a recognition of the campus’ Army ROTC Hall of Heroes and a commissioning ceremony during the game. A free roof from Southern Roofing will be presented to a local veteran in need during the game. A-State also invites Jonesboro’s youth soccer teams to attend the game, where the various league champions will be honored.

Coca-Cola is the primary sponsor for A-State’s final home game on Nov. 30, when the Red Wolves face Old Dominion on their Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day at 2 p.m. There will be prize drawings provided by Coca-Cola during the game, and the first 1,500 fans will receive a T-shirt with the Runnin’ Howl logo.

Season tickets for the A-State football team can be purchased by calling the Red Wolves Foundation at 870-972-2401, online at AStateRedWolves.com/Tickets, or through the A-State Sports app.

As the athletic department prioritizes mobile ticket sales, a key feature of the A-State Athletics App is the ability to purchase and manage mobile tickets and transfer tickets from the A-State Ticket Office. All tickets, including premium sections, will be mobile starting in 2024. Printed tickets are available in advance at the A-State Ticket Office in First National Bank Arena or at the main ticket counters at Centennial Bank Stadium on game days.

Seasonal parking passes will be physical again this year, but for the first time, mobile parking passes will also be available. Mobile parking passes are available in the same place as mobile tickets in the A-State app, and both can be added to Apple or Google Wallet. Parking passes can also be transferred in the same way as tickets.

Season ticket options include a family pack of 4 that includes four tickets to the Upper East Stand for just $149. The athletic department also recently announced that it has implemented a football season ticket referral program that offers special benefits to anyone who refers another person to purchase new season tickets. Details, including benefits, of the referral program can be found HERE.
