The Yankees continue their tour of the Midwest and face the White Sox in the final game of the series on Wednesday night at Guarantee Rate Field.

The Bronx Bombers returned to winning ways last night with a 4-1 victory over the White Sox.

Yankees batter Juan Soto hit three home runs in his first major league game and scored all four runs.

Three times is nice!: A hat trick! Juan Soto scores his first career 3-HR hit in the Yankees’ game against the White Sox

Tuesday’s performance was a sigh of relief after the Yankees allowed the White Sox to set season records for runs (12) and hits (18) in an embarrassing 12-2 loss to a White Sox team that had lost 24 of its last 25 games before the series opener and is on pace to finish with one of the worst records in MLB history.

The Yankees also had to do without Jazz Chisholm Jr. on Tuesday because the red-hot new addition at the trade deadline on Monday night suffered an elbow injury when he slipped on home plate in the fifth inning and surgery on his UCL is possible, manager Aaron Boone said before Tuesday night’s win.

The third and final meeting between these two American League teams will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

According to weather.com, it will be a cloudy night with no precipitation forecast for the south side of Chicago with temperatures between 77 and 79 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the game.
