Allu Arjun’s upcoming project Pushpa 2: The Rule has been in the limelight for quite some time now, mainly due to speculations about a possible delay in its release. In fact, several reports even suggested that there was a disagreement between the actor and filmmaker Sukumar.
However, Allu Arjun, in his characteristic style, has finally brought clarity on the matter.
Addressing the hordes of fans at the pre-release event of Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, Allu Arjun spoke about the rumours that the release of Pushpa 2 might be postponed from the scheduled December 6, 2024, to a date in 2025.
On the subject, he said: “You know that feeling when you see how a film is going to turn out? You get a kind of confidence. I don’t know if I should call it confidence. But the way the film is turning out… you’re all going to like it.”
Allu Arjun again assured that the film has not been postponed and responded in his epic style, “I will not say too much. December 6 – Assalu Thaggedhe Le (I will not give in). That is for sure.”
Furthermore, the film’s director Sukumar stated that the delay in providing updates on the film was due to the time taken to perfect certain scenes and ensure that there was no compromise on quality.
The filmmaker said, “Some scenes need more time and I don’t want to compromise on the quality. Allu Arjun’s performance and the film will be phenomenal.”
While fans eagerly await the next update on Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun seems to have already portrayed his character from the film in real life as well. The actor recently appeared at the hit event of the film Aay, where his outfit of the day (OOTD) made heads turn.
The superstar wore a red viscose shirt with a graphic print that seems to be inspired by the aesthetics of his upcoming film Pushpa 2.
Apart from the fame and glory that he enjoys due to his professional activities, Allu Arjun has also impressed many with his humble and grounded personality in real life. For example, a few days ago, a video of the actor went viral in which he is seen walking through the streets of Hyderabad as casually and inconspicuously as possible.
