Jio Cinema has removed director Ahmed Khan’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ from its official YouTube channel. The action comedy film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ starring Akshay Kumar, the third film in the famous ‘Welcome’ series, was announced to release in 2023. Recently, the announcement clip of the film was deleted from the official YouTube channel of JioStudio. This incident has sparked rumors among the viewers that the film is being shelved.

Responding to all these rumours and media reports, director Ahmed Khan said: “There is no truth to these rumors. The film is running as planned and we will start the next stage of our international marathon program in October, for which my technical team has already set out on the first reconnaissance.”

The makers also have a previously unpublished photo from the shooting on 25.th August, which suggests that the rumours of the film being shelved are not true. According to the makers, the film has already completed its marathon in Kashmir and Mumbai scheduled for August. Now, the film is set to begin its next international marathon, which is scheduled for October. The film has already completed 70% of the shooting.

Ahmed Khan’s action comedy film with its huge production intensity, huge set and a cast of 34 actors has grabbed the attention of the audience. They are eager to watch the film and get entertained.

Together with Akshay Kumar, tThe film stars Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani.

However, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor will not be part of this third installment of the “Welcome franchise”. In this context, Nana Patekar said, “I am not part of it, maybe they think I am outdated.” Former Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt was also part of the project but left the film due to scheduling issues.

Presented by Base Industries Group and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, this action comedy film was initially scheduled to hit the theatres by the end of the year. However, according to reports, the release date has now been postponed to next year.
