FLORENCE, SC – Farmers, researchers and agricultural professionals interested in staying at the forefront of South Carolina agricultural crop production are invited to attend the 2024 Agronomy Field Day at Clemson University’s Pee Dee Research and Education Center on August 29.

What you can expect:

  • Latest news from crop research
    • Latest research on cotton, peanut, sesame, sorghum and wheat varieties in South Carolina.
  • Cotton agricultural research
    • Microbial products and simulated feeding studies in deer.
  • Soil health
    • Explore research on soil health response to conservation management.
    • Use of broiler litter in corn and perennial cover crops to reduce cotton use.
    • Impacts of sorghum on farm profitability and soil health in dryland crop rotation.
