AdventHealth is one of eight organizations recognized as a 2024 Diversity Leader by Modern Healthcare. Honorees were selected for demonstrating their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through board and leadership composition and company actions over the past year.

“From their leadership levels to their program efforts, the organizations honored exemplify the kind of results that can be achieved in the workplace,” said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-in-chief of Modern Healthcare. “We hope industry leaders continue to prioritize these efforts to better reflect the communities they serve internally and externally.”

Modern Healthcare cited AdventHealth’s leadership in implementing more than 60 strategic plans to eliminate patient disparities based on race, ethnicity, gender and income status, as well as offering educational assistance programs, achieving equity in compensation and an ongoing commitment to improving representation at all levels of leadership.
