As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to iron out some of the issues that came with its perfect dominance in 2023, it has been rewarded with the monumental success of Deadpool and Wolverine. The film was a smash hit from the moment of its release due to the incredibly positive reception it received; the fact that it backed that up with billion-dollar sales, crossing that estimated mark just two weeks after its release, was the icing on the cake. Marvel is back.

There is excitement in the air as the studio promotes its upcoming titles, including titles such as Agatha all the time, Captain America: Brave New World, Daredevil: Reborn, Thunderbolts*, IronheartAnd The Fantastic Four: First StepsAnd yet there is one title that is still not ready, even though its release is imminent. This title is bladein which Mahershala Ali will play the leading role and vampires will be brought into the MCU.

Now a new report suggests that the biggest of them all will appear in the film.

According to a new report from Marvel Scooper Account Marvel NewsDracula appears in blade. They don’t provide any context as to what kind of role he might play in the film, but given that he’s the most famous vampire in literature, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to think he might be involved.

Dracula may be one of the greatest characters in fiction, but he has also visited the world of Marvel Comics in the past. Just as terrifying as he is in the legendary stories he comes from, the character has been present in comics for years and has even started a feud with none other than Deadpool.

He’s the most famous vampire of all time, so his appearance in a Blade movie would be a pretty effective way to introduce the Daywalker into the MCU franchise, especially given their history in both the comics and the movies. Yes, Blade and Dracula have met before, as the ancient vampire was the villain in 2004’s The Blade: The Blade. Blade: Trinityin which he was portrayed by Dominic Purcell (and Brian Steele whenever he transformed into his animal form).

Fans have been waiting to see what Blade will be like as part of the MCU. There is no longer any question as to whether the studio would venture into an R-rated production, as we have already seen that in Deadpool and Wolverine (and TV-MA series echo); it’s just curiosity about what the world of vampires would look like and how it could be adapted in such an established franchise.

Blade is a dhampir and moves between the human world and the vampire world, hunting the latter to rid the planet of undead evil. It will be very interesting to see how this is implemented in the MCU, and it will be even more exciting if the rumors are true and Dracula actually shows up.

For now, though, we’ll just wait and see if and when Marvel reveals more details about the upcoming film. Like its title character, it’s incredibly mysterious and we’d all like to know more about him.
