Celebrate the start of the academic year with a trip “Back to Hogwarts” at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Theme park guests begin their journey at King’s Cross Station on the Hogwarts Express and on Platform 9 ¾ in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Next stop is the shops in Hogsmeade. Celebrate your pride in your house – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw – with a replica robe. A Back to Hogwarts school pack is available, including a house-themed backpack, diary and Hedwig owl plush toy.
But a wizard is not complete without a wand. Visit Ollivanders, the makers of fine wands, to purchase the most important wizarding object, or visit the Wand Station outside Hogwarts Castle to design your own wand.
After the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff rides, you may have worked up an appetite. Visit Three Broomsticks for tasty British fare and a butterbeer. Marvel at the delicious selection of sweets at the legendary Honeydukes sweet shop in Hogsmeade: chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans or cauldron cakes. And on August 12, Honeydukes will be launching a specially themed Hogwarts Express cake with icing. Like Harry and Ron, you’ll want to take them all with you.
