Owen Warner “didn’t know what to think” when fans messaged him asking him to fart for them and send pictures of his feet.

The Hollyoaks star detailed how he was offered £50 for a “fart” by a suitor, but has decided not to check the strangers page in his inbox since taking part in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here last year because once you get going, you can spend “hours” getting lost in it.

The 23-year-old actor told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’ve had some very flirtatious messages. People have asked me for pictures of my feet.”

“A fan of mine asked me to fart for him for £50.

“I was surprised when I got the news. I didn’t really know what to do with it.

“I don’t look at that kind of news anymore. I try to stay away from it. Once you start reading it, you end up reading it for two hours.”

Still, Owen is delighted with the increased exposure he has gained since coming second on ITV1’s star-studded survival show – which was ultimately won by former Lioness captain Jill Scott – and how people are keen to stop and have a chat with his new “mates”.

He said: “I used to be recognised from Hollyoaks, so people only knew me as my character. But since I’ve been on I’m a Celebrity, they know me, which is great.”

“They talk to me as if they knew me. I talk to people as if they were my best friends.”

“The more friends the better. I am overwhelmed by all the love.”

Owen recently confirmed his relationship with Jemma Donovan, Jason Donovan’s 23-year-old daughter, with an Instagram gallery of the pair looking loved up as they holidayed in Mallorca with his Channel 4 soap co-star and her family, which includes the 54-year-old ex-Neighbours icon, and which also featured a joke marriage proposal.

He captioned the joke: “She still hasn’t forgiven me.”
