Reading time: 2 Minutes

If you commute to London for work or are visiting the city on a trip this summer, be sure to stop by Canary Wharf and pick up some free short stories to entertain you on your way to work.

Following its success so far, international publisher Penguin Books has created ‘Short Story Stations’ where you can print out one, three and five minute readings. These can be fiction, non-fiction or poetry, and each month has a different theme. This month is South Asian Heritage Month, with contributions from Booker Prize winner Salman Rushdie, Women’s Prize winner VV Ganeshananthan and Empireworld Author Sathnam Sanghera and more.

To get your free reading pieces, visit any station in the Crossrail Palace Roof Garden or Jubilee Place in Canary Wharf. Find the reading station, press a button and print out a story for your commute!
